Our Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Diversity  (EIBD) core trainings are designed to provide organizations with the knowledge, skills, and tools to create and maintain a more diverse equitable, and inclusive workplace. The goal of our program is to help organizations understand the importance of equity, inclusion, belonging, and diversity  in the workplace and to develop the skills necessary to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all employees.

Centering Equity in Your Organization: A Guide to Building Bridges Not Barriers 

The Centering Equity in Your Organization training is a comprehensive, interactive program designed to help leaders and teams transform their organizations by integrating equity, inclusion, belonging, and diversity (EIBD) into core operations, leadership, and organizational culture. This training is based on Jenora Ledbetter’s book, Centering Equity in Your Organization: A Guide to Building Bridges, Not Barriers, and offers actionable strategies to build equitable organizations and dismantle systemic barriers.

  • Objective: Establish a foundation in equity-centered leadership by addressing systemic barriers and integrating equity into core organizational operations.

  • Content Focus: Participants will explore the concepts of power, privilege, and unconscious bias, with practical applications for addressing these issues within organizational systems.

  • Learning Approach: This session will provide tools for participants to understand and begin implementing equity-focused governance and decision-making practices. Interactive features include coaching sessions, role-playing, and storytelling circles.

Pathways to Inclusivity: Empowering Executives in EIBD Leadership and Strategy 

Focused on executive leadership, this session equips leaders with advanced strategies to drive EIBD (Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Diversity) initiatives. Participants will learn to measure and sustain progress, transforming their organizations into inclusive environments that leverage diversity as a strategic asset.

  • Objective: Build on the foundation of equity by enhancing leadership skills in inclusivity, encouraging executives to lead cultural transformation efforts.

  • Content Focus: Leaders will learn advanced strategies for sustaining and measuring progress in EIBD (Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Diversity), along with methods for creating environments where diverse talents thrive.

  • Learning Approach: This session will involve case studies, strategic planning exercises, and peer engagement to develop personalized, actionable EIBD strategies.

Fostering a Culture of Belonging: Building Internal Systems, Community, and Partnerships

This training explores the impact of belonging on employee well-being and organizational success. Participants will gain practical strategies to build connections within diverse teams, prevent isolation, and establish a culture where every individual feels valued, connected, and supported.

 

  • Objective: With equity and inclusivity as a base, the next focus is on fostering a deep sense of belonging within the organization.

  • Content Focus: This training will explore the role of belonging in enhancing employee well-being and performance, offering strategies for building connections within diverse teams and addressing workplace isolation.

  • Learning Approach: Interactive community-building workshops, storytelling sessions, and practical exercises on setting and measuring belonging goals will provide participants with tools to strengthen team cohesion and support.

Unity in Diversity: Fostering Inclusion and Belonging through Cultural Competency

This final session emphasizes the importance of cultural competence in fostering inclusion and belonging. Participants will deepen their understanding of diverse backgrounds and develop actionable strategies to embrace and celebrate diversity, creating a workplace that values and unites its differences.

  • Objective: Conclude the series by celebrating diversity, with an emphasis on cultural competence as a way to foster inclusion and belonging.

  • Content Focus: Participants will delve into understanding diverse cultural backgrounds, recognizing the impact of privilege and power, and developing strategies to embrace differences within the workplace.

  • Learning Approach: This session will feature hands-on workshops, discussions, and cultural awareness exercises to help participants devise personalized plans for fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace.
