The Tripod Effect

The "Tripod Effect" emphasizes strong alignment among the board, executive leadership, and employees in driving equity, inclusion, belonging, and diversity initiatives. This involves collaborative efforts at every stage of the EIBD process, ensuring a unified and comprehensive approach to fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Our Approach to "The Tripod Effect"

At The Self Care Network, we partner with organizations to implement the Tripod Effect, fostering open communication channels among the board, executive leadership, and employees. This approach ensures a unified understanding of EIBD (Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Diversity) goals. Through tailored workshops, training sessions, and strategic planning, we guide organizations in cultivating an inclusive culture, where every stakeholder plays a vital role in advancing EIBD initiatives, promoting sustainable growth, and prioritizing self-care within the workplace.

Initial Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Diversity Assessment

Our process begins with an Initial Assessment. We meet with key stakeholders, including the board chair and executives, to outline goals and review current EIBD initiatives. The data collection phase follows, involving surveys, interviews, and document reviews to gather comprehensive EIBD data. This diagnostic phase focuses on identifying barriers within your organization.

Storytelling Circles

Following data collection, we progress to Storytelling Circles. Storytelling creates emotional connections, humanizing issues and making them more relatable. Our Story Circles are specifically tailored for organizations looking to learn how to tell their stories effectively to funders, stakeholders, and other key audiences. These circles provide a platform to practice and refine your storytelling skills, ensuring your narratives are compelling and impactful. We assist in articulating your narrative to connect, engage, and inspire. Storytelling is not merely about recounting events or sharing experiences; it is a powerful tool that can amplify the voices of those you serve, engage your communities, and drive meaningful action. By joining our Story Circles, organizations can gain valuable insights into crafting stories that resonate with funders and stakeholders,

Executive Healing Sessions

Our second phase involves Executive Healing Sessions, focusing on addressing internalized biases and fostering understanding of personal and systemic influences. As an executive leader, the responsibilities, pressures, and isolation can be overwhelming. At The Self Care Network LLC, we understand the unique challenges you face. These sessions promote mental health and wellness, supporting executive leaders in managing their unique pressures.

Advancing DEIB Initiatives

The final phase focuses on advancing EIBD initiatives, leveraging insights and personal growth from the previous phases. This includes:

  1. A 1-day advanced EIBD training course for Executives, exploring systemic barriers and aligning EIBD with CSR strategies.

2.A 1-day Cultural Competency and Self-Reflection Facilitation for employees, divided into two sessions, covering personal bias, workplace connections, and future visioning.

3.Strategic Action Planning, developing a comprehensive, actionable plan that integrates EIBD into CSR strategies, setting SMART goals, and defining key performance indicators.

We compile a strategic assessment, including goals, strategic objectives, and key performance indicators, ensuring lasting and meaningful progress. The Self Care Network LLC aims to create the scaffolding upon which your organization's strategic framework can be built, ensuring successful EIBD and CSR integration.

At The Self Care Network, we believe that sustainable EIBD progress is rooted in a holistic approach that combines storytelling, healing, and strategic action. By engaging every level of your organization in this transformative journey, we help you create a workplace where diversity is celebrated, equity is pursued, inclusion is practiced, and belonging is experienced by all.

Remember, the success of the Tripod Effect relies on ongoing commitment, collaboration, and adaptability of the leadership team.
